I have linked here: http://tv.yahoo.com/slideshow/197/photos/1 to a Yahoo slide show which tells the reader where the 'top dozen' TV shows ended because of the writer's guild strike. I am left, after reading the notes with three thoughts:
1) The strike can go on forever without any collateral damage to our culture.
2) I remember why I watch very little TV.
3) I had no idea the World Wrestling Enterprise was taking the best TV writers away from the series!
Dear heaven's this stuff looks terrible!

If those are the top 12 TV shows, I guess I am out of it from the beginning. I don't watch or follow any of those. I won't say that I don't watch TV, but certainly not any of those. I'm just glad that Jay Leno and Dave Letterman are back in business, at least somewhat. Those reruns are starting to look better and better!

We have fewer channels even with cabel and sattelite than you, and I often think that much of it is absolute rubbish and that our culture would be richer without it - but the best: ah the best is superlative.
